Influencer Tech Predictions
Today we are chatting with Brit Starr, who’s the SVP at Tribe Dynamics, and she’s actually been with them for about four years now. So Tribe Dynamics, they’re the most comprehensive influencer marketing analytics platform for iconic lifestyle brands. They’ve worked with the likes of Gucci, Benefit, ColourPop, boohoo, Sephora. And what I actually find pretty unique about them on G2, a really cool website, they were voted the number one easiest to use influencer marketing platform. I appreciate that on their website, when you check it out, it really is all about the analytics, and we dive into that in today’s conversation. But anyways, a little bit more about Brit. One of the fun facts about her is that she hosts workshops for leadership and management teams at brands of all different sizes. And she actually said this was her favorite part of her job. And you’ll definitely get a sense of that as you listen to this week’s chat.

Your Voice Matters
Today’s blog is coming off of the heels of a super successful event that we had with Katie Stoller and Molly Tullis on Clubhouse. WIIM has been hosting a ton of rooms on we’re experimenting like the rest of the world and finding so much success on it. Success to us equals great audience, great listenership, awesome insights and everyone leaving feeling like that was absolutely worth the last hour or two hours of life. Katie and Molly were so gracious enough to contribute their time to a panel that we hosted just last week and at the heels of that conversation, I wanted to invite them on the podcast to have a more in depth conversation with just the two of them.
Influencer Tech, Podcasts, and Clubhouse
It’s Women’s History Month, guys. Isn’t that exciting. This is a month that we look forward to every year, it’s a month that we get to celebrate how awesome we are, which is always really fun. And we’re coming off a Black History Month. So there’s lots to celebrate. We also have a few upcoming events, I always want to do a roundup of those. So first and foremost, our website is where everything is (you’re here!). So of course you can go to www.iamwiim/events and you could check out the whole lineup yourself.
Influence with Impact
This week’s episode you are going to love it was set is really truly has been one of my favorite podcast guests. I’ve been really enjoying getting to know her better over the past few months. She’s been in our Facebook community for the longest time and we sort of like reconnected again. As you know many months ago I actually saw her work that she’s been doing on TikTok about the influencer marketing industry on they’re putting out such cool videos and really just like educating people on all things influencer marketing, super cool. She is also killing it on Clubhouse and I have so much respect for her. So I relate because she’s also in New York. She’s also from Miami like I just feel like we’re very similar people and I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. So here’s a little bit about Lissette Calveiro.
The Music Industry, NFTs and Leaps of Faith
So of course, we’re talking about influencer marketing but this week, we’re looking at it through the scope of the music industry. So Amy has been with WIIM since we had about 200 people in our Facebook community. That was a long time ago. She’s been with us since and more or less the beginning. And that shows you how long she’s been in the influencer space. So she’ll tell you, in her own words, how she got to Roc Nation, which is, you know, this incredible company, they partner with all of the, you know, a list celebrities, and the music industry is all about influence and influential people. So it was a really interesting conversation.
Using Influence to Educate and Inform
Being a lifestyle influencer now means much more than just being stylish or promoting the things you love. Brands can no longer rely on the merits of simply producing a good product. Nor can corporations stay above the fray when taking a stance on social and political causes through their corporate values, messaging, marketing, and actions.
