WIIM

Meet The Owners of Influencer.com and @influencer

Today is Memorial Day weekend and I’m a last minute planner. So I’m going to visit some family for like a day or two but then we’re thinking of taking off and spending a couple days somewhere. As always check us out on Clubhouse for all of our Clubhouse events. Check us out on Instagram, our Facebook community, our website, everything. We want to hear from you. I love hearing from you! And if you are interested in joining our collective, which is our membership, you can always use code podcast 2021 for a discount.

What PR Can Do For You

This episode we are with Jourdann who is with Electrify PR. I got connected with her through another great Facebook group that I’m in. I want to shout this one out. It’s called PR Czars. I had heard about it years ago. It’s a Facebook group that I paid to be in. I know WIIM is one of those as well. It’s pretty invaluable. It’s a great Facebook community of PR professionals. If you haven’t heard of it, definitely check it out. I was connected with her because I was looking for somebody who does PR, but has a real grasp on the influencer marketing space, right.

Everything Influencer Management

So you’re going to hear from the women behind Shine Influencers today. Emily and Jess are incredible. There are a lot of management companies out there. Every company is going to take a different approach to management. If you’ve been listening to our podcast for a while, you know management is my entryway point into influencer marketing. I have a lot of opinions on how to manage influencers, how to manage an agency (since I had my own), and I can honestly say that I have so much respect for the way that Shine is running their agency.

Is the NYT Right About Fohr’s AMP

This is going to be a particularly interesting post. So as a little bit of backstory, we were doing a Clubhouse room about two weeks ago from when this episode is going live called Breaking News in Influencer Marketing. We had a great panel, we always do. We were talking about newsworthy topics from the last week or so. One of the topics was this New York Times article that came out about Fohr, and about one of their newest offerings. There was certainly commentary about all of it and there were questions (and there were pretty strong opinions). That’s what WIIM is most known for: opinionated women. So I love it. I love it all.

Your Voice Matters

Today’s blog is coming off of the heels of a super successful event that we had with Katie Stoller and Molly Tullis on Clubhouse. WIIM has been hosting a ton of rooms on we’re experimenting like the rest of the world and finding so much success on it. Success to us equals great audience, great listenership, awesome insights and everyone leaving feeling like that was absolutely worth the last hour or two hours of life. Katie and Molly were so gracious enough to contribute their time to a panel that we hosted just last week and at the heels of that conversation, I wanted to invite them on the podcast to have a more in depth conversation with just the two of them.

Discovering your Style of Leadership

Listen to the live podcast version of this story Jessy Grossman: What is up everybody? I am so excited and pumped. It’s a new week. I don’t know why I’m so excited but I genuinely am. I think it’s because we’re launching a lot of new things with WIIM. We’ll be announcing that sometime soon. […]

Influencer Tech, Podcasts, and Clubhouse

It’s Women’s History Month, guys. Isn’t that exciting. This is a month that we look forward to every year, it’s a month that we get to celebrate how awesome we are, which is always really fun. And we’re coming off a Black History Month. So there’s lots to celebrate. We also have a few upcoming events, I always want to do a roundup of those. So first and foremost, our website is where everything is (you’re here!). So of course you can go to www.iamwiim/events and you could check out the whole lineup yourself.

Automate Your Life

So the topic that I want to chat with you about today is Automation. Whether you are a solopreneur, entrepreneur, or you work for a huge company, you may also be passionate about automating (or intrigued by it!). The people on your team should be doing the higher level work NOT the work that automations can do. And if they are doing this basic, nitty-gritty type work, I think IMHO, you’re doing things wrong. So I’m going to walk you through some things that I have found work for my business. These tactics will stretch your bottom line and protect your time so you’re never doing menial tasks. You shouldn’t be hiring people to be doing those either.

Stop Being Lazy

It’s a new week and my dirty little secret is that I actually took last week off. Basically the whole week. A good solid four days of five. Do I sound refreshed? Do I sound different? I hope I do, I hope that my little wrinkles have gone away. I hope my couple gray hairs have faded. Probably not but a girl can dream!

Advocate for Yourself (as hard as you do for your clients)

Listen to the live podcast version of this story She’s a former social media director, turned influencer marketing strategist and talent manager… Molly Tracy opened her agency Vrai in April of 2019. Vrai classifies itself as a digital communication group for brands and babes with a point of view. Vrai stands for true and their […]
